Pearce’s and Reynolds’s Reign Continues in the Rain!
2010 Championship Winner – Daniel Reynolds 1200 class winners, Pearce and Cannon Daniel Reynolds and Bruce Pearce kept the Championship status quo for 2010 after the final round of the 2010 NSW State Championship at Eastern Creek in late October. Daniel and Bruce held on to their state championship titles in wet conditions on both race days, driving safely and smoothly in the “atrocious” conditions to become deserving champions for 2010.
Mick Kinsella and Tim Brook did everything they could to steal the Championship from Daniel by winning all the 1600 races, but Daniel locked up his championship by the end of Race 2 on Sunday morning. Similarly, Bruce Pearce completed his championship quest by Saturday afternoon.
Commiserations to a few drivers who had some problems, particularly Nathan Brumby who had to miss much of the weekend with car troubles, and newby Mat Harrison, who blew and engine on the Friday before his Formula Vee debut. Congratulations to the race winners, Bruce Pearce, Michael Kinsella, Tim Brook, Daniel Reynolds, Bernie Cannon, Mat Pearce, and Michael Gale, who stole the final place on the podium during the weekend.
Congratulations also to Mat Pearce on the great debut of his new Jacer, and to the entire field of Formula Vee drivers for putting on safe and exciting racing in terrible conditions.
